"Monday"is the first piece in a series portraying the body. It is based on a drawing in my sketchbook, a self portrait on a particularly monday-y Monday. It is free hand machine embroidered, with a thicker cotton thread sown onto a heavy, dark green fabric I bought from a flea market.
