"Fjälluggla"is my most intricate embroidery to date. Having just got a book of all the wild birds in Finland I got obsessed with studying owls. It culminated in this project which took me more hours that I can count to finish. It is free hand machine embroidered onto a pale green fabric I bought from a flea market.
